Journalist Bujyayara Jean Paul known in entertainment talk on Isango Star as Gutermann Guter, is happy after he exceeded his dream and launched a project to build a primary school worth 120 Million Frw.
This guy actually has an organization called ‘Nufasha Yafasha Organization’ which helps the needy. It is an organization that started in 2014.
In 2015, when he was finishing his second degree, he saw the lives of the children of his hometown in Gatsibo, Ngarama Sector, where some of them had gone to school, while others had lost their education. 14 children.
In an interview with IGIHE, he said that he always had many dreams, but what came first was to continue helping children who are deprived of their education and now he is gradually achieving it.
He said, “Happiness is everything because my dream is to continue the development of education in my hometown and elsewhere in the country through the family I founded. Children will continue their primary education at the same school where they started, which is a good thing that will help to maintain the quality of education, be treated better and more.”
The Community is currently building a primary school with three primary classrooms, a spacious kitchen that can accommodate over a thousand children, and a spacious bathroom including one for the disabled. He said they will continue so that the 2025-2026 school year will begin with all six full rooms.
When you talk, he tells you that this school is expected to cost at least 120 million Frw.
He said, “This first ‘phase’ is worth more than 60 million Rwandan francs. The whole project will cost a little over 120 million Frw in addition to the playgrounds.”
He said that because of the amount of money needed for this project, it would not be easy for Nufashwa Yafasha to do it alone, but now in collaboration with the province of Western Flanders, UMUBANO Association of Belgium, SpendeDirekt and Help Organization Pro-Education from Switzerland, made it easy for them.
Gutermann says that after completing the primary school, they plan for this school to cooperate with the State.
He said, “Discussions have started on how our school will collaborate with the government on the agreement, to see how the government can help us pay teachers, give us manuals, etc.”
Gutermann already has a preschool that started in 2021, with 108 kindergarteners. Children eat breakfast and lunch at school to promote good nutrition.
