The community founded by the late Dr Alfred Paul Jahn, known as the Dr Alfred Foundation, is made up of students who visited his grave and were told why he was buried in the Nyamirambo cemetery.
This Wednesday, the date of 4/9/2024 is when the students from Kigali city and different provinces met at the house of the deceased and were welcomed by the children of the deceased including his brother, Fidele Jahn, the main task is that they want to go back to the schools where they talked as a family.
At the beginning they visited the grave of Dr. Alfred Paul Jahn, who was buried in the Nyamirambo cemetery, and were given the main message of the deceased.
Fidele Jahn told the children that Dr. Alfred Paul Jahn arrived in Rwanda in 1997 and was born on April 16, 1937 in Germany. He said: “He appeared in many acts of love here in Rwanda, and you all know that he is the one who opened the schools. He died in the classroom. We want to share this story with you so that you can do the school exams safely.”
He went on to say that, the love he loved them is the love he loves them, “With God we assure you that nothing will disturb you, so what he asked or loved is that you study well and succeed, that’s what we appeal to you. and the country”.
He ended the message by saying: “Akiriho asked us that the day he died he did not want anyone to be appointed and that we will bury him in the cemetery of the poor, the money we collected will be used to help his people in Rwesero which he loved, we did that and that is why you see his grave here in the cemetery of Nyamirambo”.
We remind you that, on 12/6/2024, it was announced that the German doctor Dr. Alfred Paul Jahn, known as Mon Amie, who had dedicated himself to helping the needy for 27 years here in Rwanda, passed away due to illness at the age of 87. his home in Nyamirambo-Kivugiza, where he had been sick for days and was being monitored by doctors.
Some of the children who graduated from Dr. Alfred’s school announced on AHUPA RADIO that even though they have lost their mother, they will continue to carry out what he asked them to do.
